A Free Six-Week Workshop

Adapted from Stanford University’s Chronic Disease Self-Management Program (CDSMP)

 

Learn new skills to coordinate all the things needed to manage your health, as well as to help keep you active in your life and relationships. Family members and caregivers are welcome to attend too. Sign-up today!

This cancer support group is open to all.

The Topic for our  meeting is FEAR…during and after cancer. Our group is for both those who have or have had a cancer diagnosis as well as for their loved ones who are their caregivers. You need not come as a pair…individual caregivers and individual survivors are welcome.  We will have a brief discussion on the role fear plays in cancer  during and after treatment  followed by the sharing of  support group participants own experiences with fear or any other issue. You are not required to talk if you do not want to and are there to simply listen.

Directions: Where: 3/10’s mile west of Jefferson, turn south on south side of Osuna, turn south on Gluton runs along west side of Adelante. First place you can turn left takes you into the west side parking lot of Adelante.  Located on the first floor. Enter through the small door entrance in middle of the building on the west side.

Fourth Saturday Cancer Support Now Survivors Group

The first instinct when given a cancer diagnosis is to be terrified. Stunned.  Everyone with cancer can remember with technicolor clarity the moment.  Life is changed forever.

There are experts to guide you through vital treatments. Family, friends with hugs and support. For about 23% of cancer patients there is no or very little support to get them through the cancer journey.

Fourth Saturday Cancer Support Now Survivors Group is proven to be helpful to those many who need help on their journey. More information, hugs, someone to share your journey. You are not alone. Join Us.
